Nordpine Ltd has provided its customers with globally known high quality Finnish timber in for two generations. Ever since Jouko Nurmi founded the company in 1988 it has been aiming at the global markets. At first the growth was moderate – in the first year the company sold only 39000 cubic meters of timber, but since then during the best year the company delivered over 350 000 cubic meters of sawn timber globally. At first the most important markets were Turkey, Iran and Egypt.
Global timber exports have remained one of the corner stones of the company, even though the destination countries have changed over the decades.
Nowadays the most important markets for Nordpine Ltd are for example North Africa, Saudi Arabia, China and Japan. Over the years the company has developed a wide customer network which knows the excellent qualities of Finnish timber.
The future goal of Nordpine Ltd is the stable growth of the business and developing and renewing the business model according to global challenges. We want to continue to provide great service and long-time collaboration. The company has a stable foundation, which makes it easy to develope our business to meet new challenges.
