We deliver the sawn timber as quickly as possible, taking into consideration global challenges. Over the years we have developed an effective logistical system and we organize the whole supply chain to the destination country.
Mainly the sawn timber is shipped via waterways from Finnish harbors. The timber is either loaded into shipping containers or directly into the ship.
We mainly supply sawn timber made from Finnish pine and spruce to Africa, Saudi Arabia, China and Japan.
In addition to sawn timber we deliver birch, spruce and pine logs and plywood to our customers.
Finnish sawn timber is produces according to the Nordic Timber Grading rules –quality standards.
The size, number and location of the branches are the most important criteria in determining the quality classes.
When sorting the timber all sides are checked separately. The quality is determined by the edges and sides. The moisture content of the exported sawn timber is 20 % ±4 %.
